What's in the new update?

With this new update, you don’t need to do anything! Your MYOB Advanced subscription includes all updates and the application of those to your system by MYOB.

MYOB will provide another update closer to release of 2015.2 that includes full details of the changes in the service pack. Following the upgrade you can work with our Software Consultants to explore and use the new features at a time that best suits you.

Customer Portal and B2B e-Commerce

The customer portal provides you and your clients an online tool to work and communicate more efficiently. Customers you grant portal access will be able to view key information regarding their business including invoices and statements and also place new orders and support cases.

Simpler sales order prepayments

Deposits for sales orders can now be entered directly from the sales order entry screen, reducing the number of steps to complete prepayment entry.

View your data live in Excel using OData feeds

Generic enquiries can now be exposed via OData, an open standard for querying data. Generic enquiries can be accessed without programming from applications like Microsoft Excel, Power Pivot or PowerBI giving new more familiar and powerful reporting options.

Managing your Support Partner's system access

New security controls in MYOB Advanced allow you to control system access for the Partner Support user account, giving you added security and peace of mind.

Sales Order approvals

This improvement is perfect for businesses that require managers to review and approve sales orders and credit returns. By setting pre-defined business rules, sales orders can now be automatically held and assigned to managers for approval.

In addition to the above, there are many more improvements to Advanced Business in this update. Look out for serial number pre-assignment on sales orders, configurable fixed asset types, row-level security in projects and archiving of emails.
