MYOB EXO - Customer Pricing Methods

Have you wondered how to set up various pricing levels for your Customers in EXO?

1) Basic Price Levels

Within the Customer Account you can set up price levels for different ‘classes’ of Customers e.g. Retail or Trade Accounts

2) More advanced pricing rules

You can enhance pricing levels with the use of Price Rules (and policies) This allows you to set prices for stock groups/ items or for individuals, groups or customers.

To set up a Price Rule

• Enter the debtor account for whom you want to set up the price rule.
• Click on the Discounts/Prices tab.
• Click on the New Price Rule button. The Price Rule Setup window is displayed.

• Complete the fields in the Details tab as required and Save

EXO also has the ability to create Price Policies which can be applied to individual Debtors or groups of Debtors.

To set up a Price Policy

• Enter the debtor account for whom you want to set up the price rule.
• Click on the Discounts/Prices tab.
• Click on the Setup Price Policies button. The Price Policy Setup window is displayed.
• Complete the fields in the Details tab.
• Click on the Price Rules tab, and then click the Add Item button to set up the price rules you want to use for this price policy.
• Click on the Accounts tab, and then click the Add Item button to add any specific debtor accounts you want this price policy to apply to.
• Click on the Price Policy Groups tab, and then click the Add item button to add any Debtor Price Policy Groups you want this price policy to apply to.
• Click Save
